The Lord has placed upon my heart a strength of listening, caring, and non-judgemental support. I feel it is an honor and a blessing to walk alongside someone in their pain and show them the love of God.

I have a strong desire to be a caring, supportive presence for people who are struggling and help them walk in the fullness of all the Lord has for them. With empathy and understanding, I offer nonjudgmental emotional support combined with practical coping strategies and tools to help you cope with whatever it is you are going through. Together we will discuss your progress honestly to determine what is working well for you and what isn’t encouraging you along the way. Depending on your comfort level, I will also help you incorporate prayer and God’s truths as we seek the Holy Spirit for guidance in your healing journey.
My Goal as a Christian Counselor
My goal as your counselor is to provide a welcoming, nurturing environment where you can feel comfortable exploring the hurts, pains, or trials that are causing you difficulty. I believe with Christ at the center of our work, we can find strength and healing and overcome anything. As we work together, my hope is that you will feel the love of God, gain insight, learn therapeutic tools, and most importantly, come to know the strength and power you have through a daily walk with Him.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
I believe true healing and peace come when we align ourselves with God’s truth of who He says we are in Him and all He has for us. I offer a confidential space and a loving environment where you can explore and uncover hurts, fears, lies, patterns, behaviors, or situations that cause you pain and prevent you from walking in the daily peace that God offers to us all. I will follow your lead and walk with you at your own pace and comfort level as we seek His guidance through whatever it is you are facing.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
My approach to Christian counseling is rooted in further developing our relationship with Christ and using His Word and the Holy Spirit’s direction to guide our lives. I am
passionate about integrating faith-based, biblical truth with evidence-based therapeutic practices to support clients and their families through life’s challenges. My therapeutic approach is grounded in grace, truth, and prayer, as well as emotional and spiritual safety.
Qualifications & Experience
With over 12 years of counseling experience, I hold a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage Family Therapy from California Lutheran University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Nevada, Reno.
My Call to Christian Counseling
I was raised in a home where church and prayer were a part of our family life. As I grew older, I developed a deeper relationship with the Lord and grew into my own faith and walk with Him. Over the years, I have seen how He can work and move in people’s lives in miraculous ways. I feel called to blend my professional and spiritual knowledge together to help people find peace and heal from whatever it is they are going through.
More About Me/On a Personal Note
I love spending quiet time with the Lord journaling, praying, and reading the Word, which is where I find my peace and strength. Outside of that time, my days are filled with family and my bustling home life, which includes my husband and three children, along with our rambunctious dog. I love to travel and go camping, spend time with friends, and watch football with my family.

Counseling for Children and Teens
Raising children and adolescents is one of the best and most challenging things you will ever do. It can be difficult to know how to help your child or teen and guide them through all that comes at them as they grow. We are called to raise our children up in the way they should go (Proverbs 22:6). Having the support and guidance of a Christian counselor to walk with you and your child or teen can make all the difference in raising happy, healthy children into adulthood.
Infertility
We often think as we grow up and venture into adulthood that we will be able to have a family whenever we decide we want to. Infertility is not usually something we consider we may have to deal with someday. When it happens, it can feel overwhelming, devastating, and all-consuming. It can strain our relationships with loved ones and with God. With the help of Christian counseling, we can learn to deal with all that comes our way, building hope and ultimately strengthening our relationship with God as we look to Him for comfort, lean on Him, and build up our faith and trust, remembering that with God, nothing is impossible (Luke 1:37).
Relationship Issues
We are created to be in relationship with God and each other – yet relationships are not always easy, and come with their own sets of challenges, hurts, fears, and worries. With the help of Christian counseling, we can work together to examine relationship challenges and explore how to engage in healthy, loving relationships where we can learn to love ourselves and others as God loves us.
Anxiety
Feeling anxious is a normal, human experience. Some anxiety can be helpful in motivating us into action or change, while other anxiety can be debilitating and completely overwhelming. God tells us in His Word not to be anxious about anything, yet when we are experiencing signs and symptoms of anxiety, that can be a difficult thing to do. I offer a space to explore your struggles with anxiety and learn how to root it out of your daily life, walking in God’s truth and promise to be able to live a life of faith and trust in Him.
Anger Management
We are created in God’s image, full of complex thoughts and feelings, one of which can be anger. While feeling anger is a normal part of life, we are told in God’s Word to be slow to anger and not sin in our anger. Anger can be a powerful emotion to control. In counseling, you can learn what activates feelings of anger and ways to help control it. That way, we are able to manage anger before it damages ourselves or our relationships so we can be living as God desires, reconciling and living in peace with others.
Trauma
None of us walk through life without hardships or experiences that truly shape and change who we are and how we see the world. Trauma can begin in childhood and extend into adulthood, or it can be a one-time traumatic event that we find ourselves struggling to overcome. We have the ability to overcome trauma and learn ways to heal and move forward with hope. I provide a safe space to work through whatever trauma you may have experienced and learn how to move forward into the place God has prepared for you.
