My Goal as a Christian Counselor
My goal is to support your growth in three deeply connected areas: mental and emotional health, relationships, and your walk with God. Using evidence-based methods alongside a faith-integrated approach, I will help you understand and heal the root causes of emotional pain, trauma, and unhealthy relationship patterns with others and yourself. My hope is that through our work together, you will feel more grounded emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, gain helpful insight into your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, develop healthier connections, and enjoy a deeper experience of God.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
I offer a welcoming, confidential space where you can be fully honest and challenged to grow beyond old patterns into new freedom. We will work on renewing your thought life, healing wounded parts of your heart, and breaking free from shame, fear, or lies that have held you back. Through this process, my aim is for you to experience relief, restoration, and a deeper intimacy with God. True healing is possible, and it doesn’t come from trying hard, but from allowing God to gently uncover, restore, and renew parts of you that have been hurting. I would be honored to walk with you on that journey and to witness God moving in your life.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
My approach to Christian counseling begins with combining evidence-based models with a spiritual framework rooted in Christian faith and values. I believe clinical and spiritual healing are deeply connected, since both focus on restoring identity. My clients often appreciate the thoughtful questions I ask, as they are encouraged to gain a deeper self-awareness and alignment with God’s perspective of them and their situations. I provide a grace-filled space where you can ask questions and experience God’s unconditional love in the midst of your healing.
Qualifications & Experience
I hold a Doctorate in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, a Master’s in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro Worldwide University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Riverside, CA. I am also EMDR certified, Internal Family Systems Informed, and Gottman Informed.
My Call to Christian Counseling
My decision to pursue a career as a counselor began with my family’s move from India to America. Watching my parents navigate cultural challenges and carry heavy emotional loads sparked something in me. I became deeply curious about the human mind and passionate about helping people process their pain, understand their story, and find healing emotionally, culturally, relationally, and, of course, spiritually.
More About Me/On a Personal Note
I have found that my life is better with a dose of: astrophotography exploration, writing and reading nonfiction and fiction, new cuisines (especially spicy ones), time with my family, fashion, new skincare trends, hiking, theme parks, learning how to write in my mother tongue (Hindi), and interior designing.

Depression
If you’re feeling numb, tired, and unmotivated or like joy has slipped away, you’re not alone. There is hope. In our work together, we will explore both the emotional and spiritual weight of depression, gently uncovering the roots and helping you reconnect with meaning, purpose, and peace. Using approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), we will work toward healing parts of you that feel stuck in darkness while also drawing on the truth and comfort in God’s Word.
Trauma
Whether your trauma stems from childhood, relationships, abuse, or unexpected life events, your story matters, and it deserves a safe, sacred space for healing. I use EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you gently process painful memories without being overwhelmed by them. Your trauma doesn’t have to empower you when you take action to redefine it.
Marriage Counseling
If your marriage feels distant, tense, or stuck in cycles of conflict, I offer a space where both partners can feel heard, understood, and supported. We will work on communication, rebuilding trust, and reconnecting emotionally and spiritually. I help couples move from disconnection to deeper intimacy, grounded in biblical principles and practical tools that bring lasting change.
Anxiety
When your thoughts race, your chest tightens, or fear steals your sense of peace, it can feel as if anxiety is running your life. I help clients slow down, reconnect with their breath and body, and explore the roots of their anxiety with compassion and curiosity. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and faith-based grounding tools, we will work together to break the grip of anxious thoughts and replace them with clarity.
Eating Disorders
Struggles with food, body image, or disordered eating are never really about food but usually more about shame, control, and deeper pain. Whether you’re facing binging, restriction, or body hatred, I offer a compassionate space where acceptance and healing are possible. Together we will work on restoring a healthier relationship with food and your body while processing deeper parts of your story to help you reconnect with your worth in Christ.
